COMPACT Family Services is looking for compassionate adults/couples who have a heart for ministry to children and youth (ages 5-18) who are also interested in full-time employment. From time-to-time positions open on campus in the following areas: Houseparents, Case Managers and other fulfilling ministry opportunities.


Administrative Coordinator to the Development Director

This position will serve as an Administrative Coordinator to the Development & Donor Relations Director of COMPACT Family Services. The Administrative Coordinator will work with AG Contributor Services in order to track donor giving. This position will also assist the Development Director with print publications, web publishing and similar projects. This position will also perform administrative functions, including general office assistance, filing, record keeping, mailings, correspondence and projects.

Position Requirements: Preferred education is a college degree in business, finance, or related field and two years’ administrative experience. Preferred experience or training in project management, print publishing, Microsoft Office and web publishing. Exceptional organizational, office, data entry and communication skills. Ability to operate standard office equipment.

HOUSEPARENTS/RELIEF HOUSEPARENTS

Applicants for the position of Houseparents/Relief Houseparents for AG COMPACT Family Services, Hillcrest campus need to be a mature, compassionate husband and wife team with a heart for ministry and/or credentialed ministers. They provide supervision, structure and assistance in meeting abused/neglected children’s physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs while teaching them life skills. It is a wonderful opportunity to invest in the lives of children and youth. Serve foster children and youth in a group home on a beautiful, 55+ acre campus.

  1. Need to be mature and compassionate couples/individuals who have a heart for ministry.
  2. Provide direct supervision and care of children to meet their physical, spiritual, emotional, educational, and social needs.
  3. Work closely with a treatment team to establish and help fulfill treatment goals.
  4. Work with children and youth facing a variety of challenges to include: teen pregnancy, treatment needs, transition into adulthood, and special needs.
  5. Must be at least 21 years old and have at least a high school diploma or its equivalent, with prior childcare experience preferred.
  6. Have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

EVENING SHIFT RELIEF HOUSEPARENT

Applicants for the position of Evening Shift Relief Houseparent for COMPACT Family Services are responsible for providing late afternoon and evening support to Houseparents/Relief Houseparents who are providing a safe, nurturing environment for children who have experienced abuse, abandonment, and/or neglect.

The Evening Shift Relief Houseparent:

  1. Needs to be a mature and compassionate individual who has a heart for ministry.
  2. Supports the direct care staff as they provide direct supervision and care of children in order to meet their physical, spiritual, emotional, and social needs.
  3. Rotates throughout the campus during early evening hours to provide support as needed and monitors campus cameras during late evening hours to monitor movement throughout the campus.
  4. Must be at least 21 years old and have at least a high school diploma or its equivalent, with prior childcare and security experience preferred.
  5. Has a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT

Applicant for this position will assist in the upkeep and maintenance of buildings, vehicles and grounds. Ensure that all equipment, appliances, and machinery are kept in good operating order, making general mechanical repairs as necessary.

Preferably the applicant will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and be at least 21 years of age. One-year previous maintenance experience is required. Experience with appliance repair and vehicle repair would be beneficial.

Applicants for the position of Relief Houseparent (Shift Work) for AG COMPACT Family Services, Hillcrest campus need to be a mature, compassionate person with a heart for ministry. This individual will provide supervision, structure and assistance in meeting abused/neglected children’s physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs while teaching them life skills. It is a wonderful opportunity to invest in the lives of children and youth. Serve foster children and youth in a group home on a beautiful, 55+ acre campus.

Must be willing to relocate to Hot Springs, Arkansas.
