COMPACT Family Services is looking for compassionate adults/couples who have a heart for ministry to children and youth (ages 5-18) who are also interested in full-time employment. From time-to-time positions open on campus in the following areas: Houseparents, Case Managers and other fulfilling ministry opportunities.


SAFE CARE PROVIDER

Safe Care is a home-visiting program designed to equip and empower vulnerable families to better care for their children under 6 years old. Applicants for the position of Safe Care Provider need to have a heart for vulnerable children and families in Sevier, Little River, Hempstead, Miller, Lafayette, Columbia, Union, Ouachita, and Nevada Counties.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

Applicants must have an associate degree from a two-year college or technical school or nursing diploma. Field of Study include Social work, Education, Sociology, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling or related field in Human Services along with 2 years’ experience in Home Visiting, Child Development and/or Parenting. Preferably, the applicant will have a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university. Field of study include Social work, Education, Sociology, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling or related field in Human Services.

Candidate is also required to have a Class D Arkansas Driver’s License with good driving record.

HOUSEPARENTS/RELIEF HOUSEPARENTS

Applicants for the position of Houseparents/Relief Houseparents for AG COMPACT Family Services, Hillcrest campus need to be a mature, compassionate husband and wife team with a heart for ministry and/or credentialed ministers. They provide supervision, structure and assistance in meeting abused/neglected children’s physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs while teaching them life skills. It is a wonderful opportunity to invest in the lives of children and youth. Serve foster children and youth in a group home on a beautiful, 55+ acre campus.

  1. Need to be mature and compassionate couples/individuals who have a heart for ministry.
  2. Provide direct supervision and care of children to meet their physical, spiritual, emotional, educational, and social needs.
  3. Work closely with a treatment team to establish and help fulfill treatment goals.
  4. Work with children and youth facing a variety of challenges to include: teen pregnancy, treatment needs, transition into adulthood, and special needs.
  5. Must be at least 21 years old and have at least a high school diploma or its equivalent, with prior childcare experience preferred.
  6. Have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

EVENING SHIFT RELIEF HOUSEPARENT

Applicants for the position of Evening Shift Relief Houseparent for COMPACT Family Services are responsible for providing late afternoon and evening support to Houseparents/Relief Houseparents who are providing a safe, nurturing environment for children who have experienced abuse, abandonment, and/or neglect.

The Evening Shift Relief Houseparent:

  1. Needs to be a mature and compassionate individual who has a heart for ministry.
  2. Supports the direct care staff as they provide direct supervision and care of children in order to meet their physical, spiritual, emotional, and social needs.
  3. Rotates throughout the campus during early evening hours to provide support as needed and monitors campus cameras during late evening hours to monitor movement throughout the campus.
  4. Must be at least 21 years old and have at least a high school diploma or its equivalent, with prior childcare and security experience preferred.
  5. Has a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

CASE MANAGER

Applicants for the position of Case Manager for COMPACT Family Services serve as the primary representatives and advocates for our residents. They act as a liaison between COMPACT and residents’ families, school officials, court and other child welfare organizations.

The Applicant for the Case Manager position at COMPACT will:

  1. Facilitate the following tasks: coordinate intakes and treatment/service plan development, serve as liaisons, and manage discharge procedures/services for campus residents.
  2. Assist, coach, and mentor direct care staff with issues of conduct and overall well-being of the residents.
  3. Provide crisis intervention as needed and assist on-duty direct care staff with behavioral issues. Serve on-call on rotation basis.
  4. Have a Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field plus two year work experience in a Human Services Field.
  5. Have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

SOCIAL SERVICES ADMIN COORDINATOR

Applicants for the position of Social Services Admin Coordinator for COMPACT Family Services works directly with the Residential Director and the Assistant Residential Director in the execution of the duties and meeting needs of the Social Services Department.

The Social Services Admin Coordinator at COMPACT will:

  1. Answer, provide information, and/or direct calls for the Social Services Department.
  2. Produce and maintain various monthly Social Services reports as required or requested and take minutes for scheduled meetings.
  3. Create and maintain a variety of schedules and manage calendars for the Residential Director and Social Services Department.
  4. Preferably have a Bachelor’s degree with minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent with two years’ experience in administrative work.
  5. Be proficient in organizational skills, Microsoft programs, and Adobe.

MEDIA & PUBLICATIONS COORDINATOR

Applicant for this position will coordinate Media & Publishing and serve as Administrative Coordinator to the Development & Donor Relations Director of COMPACT Family Services. Duties will include coordinating social media, print publications, web publishing, and like projects, perform administrative functions, including general office assistance, filing, record keeping, mailings, correspondence, and projects.

A college degree in a marketing, communications, publications, media, or design field; or proven experience is preferred for this position along with 2 years’ administrative experience and or training in project management, print publishing, web publishing, photography and video editing, Social media competency, good organizational, office, and communication skills, along with the ability to operate standard office equipment. Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and web publishing are required.

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Applicant for this position will coordinate Human Resources and assist Accounting. Duties will include posting job openings, processing applicants, coordinating interviews, working with department directors, communicating official employment offers, processing new employees, maintaining accurate employee records, facilitating employee benefits and assisting the accounting manager with payroll, payables and other accounting backup support as needed.

Preferably the applicant will have a college degree or related experience in Human Resource Management or Accounting. Experience with Microsoft Office and Accounting Software is required.
