House Manager

Responsible for providing a safe, nurturing environment for children who have developmental disabilities and come from abused, abandoned, neglected or dysfunctional homes. Provide supervision, structure, and assistance in meeting the child’s physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs. Responsible for the overall management of the residents and building, including but not limited to implementation of service planning, service delivery, and community partnerships. Meet regularly with each resident and maintain appropriate documentation. Required Mandated Reporter for suspected abuse/neglect. This position requires the person to live on campus in the Cottage apartment. The schedule is 10 days on with 4 days off.

Education/Training:

Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or a bachelor’s degree in another field plus two years’ work experience in a human services field.

Experience:

Previous casework experience helpful, especially working with children with developmental disabilities. Must have knowledge in use of Microsoft programs. Must have a valid Driver’s License and good driving record.

Other requirements:

Pre-employment drug screen and all required background checks. Pre- service training and orientation.


Assistant House Manager

Responsible for providing a safe, nurturing environment for children who have developmental disabilities and come from abused, abandoned, neglected or dysfunctional homes. Provide supervision, structure, and assistance in meeting the child’s physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs. Works hand in hand with the House Manager to assists in the day- to-day operations of the Program. This position requires the person to live on campus in an apartment. The schedule is 10 days on with 4 days off.

Education/Training:

High school diploma or equivalent, 21 years of age, valid Driver’s License, good driving record.

Experience:

Prior childcare experience.

Other requirements:

Pre-employment drug screen and all required background checks. Pre- service training and orientation.


Shift Lead

Responsible for providing a safe, nurturing environment for children who have developmental disabilities and come from abused, abandoned, neglected or dysfunctional homes. Will assist these children with their daily living activities, administer basic health care, and support their treatment needs. Must maintain appropriate documentation. Required Mandated Reporter for suspected abuse/neglect. This position will be the Lead on 1 of 3 shifts Monday thru Friday or 1 of 2 shifts Saturday and Sunday.

Education/Training:

High school graduate. Must be at least 21 years old. Proof of experience working with developmental disability preferred.

Experience:

Preferred two-year experience working with residents from ages 0-21 with emotional and behavioral disturbances. Must have knowledge in use of Microsoft programs. Must have a valid Driver’s License and good driving record.

Shift Assistant

This position will assist on 1 of 3 shifts Monday thru Friday or 1 of 2 shifts Saturday and Sunday.

Preferred one-year experience working with residents from ages 0-21 with varying developmental disabilities, emotional and behavioral disturbances. Must have knowledge in use of Microsoft programs. Must have a valid Driver’s License and good driving record.

SafeCare Enrollment Coordinator – Area 10

SafeCare is a home-visiting program designed to equip and empower vulnerable families to better care for their children under 6 years old.  Applicants for the position of SafeCare Coordinator need to have a heart for vulnerable children and families in the Delta region of Arkansas.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

Applicants must have bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.  Field of Study must include Social work, Education, Sociology, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, or related field in Human Services along with 2 years’ experience in Home Visiting, Child Development and/or Parenting. Master’s degree in one or more of these areas is preferred.

Candidate is also required to have a Class D Arkansas Driver’s License with good driving record.


HOUSEPARENTS/RELIEF HOUSEPARENTS

Applicants for the position of Houseparents/Relief Houseparents for AG COMPACT Family Services, Hillcrest campus need to be a mature, compassionate husband and wife team with a heart for ministry and/or credentialed ministers. They provide supervision, structure and assistance in meeting abused/neglected children’s physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs while teaching them life skills. It is a wonderful opportunity to invest in the lives of children and youth. Serve foster children and youth in a group home on a beautiful, 55+ acre campus.

  1. Need to be mature and compassionate couples/individuals who have a heart for ministry.
  2. Provide direct supervision and care of children to meet their physical, spiritual, emotional, educational, and social needs.
  3. Work closely with a treatment team to establish and help fulfill treatment goals.
  4. Work with children and youth facing a variety of challenges to include: teen pregnancy, treatment needs, transition into adulthood, and special needs.
  5. Must be at least 21 years old and have at least a high school diploma or its equivalent, with prior childcare experience preferred.
  6. Have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

SAFE CARE PROVIDER - Area 3

Safe Care is a home-visiting program designed to equip and empower vulnerable families to better care for their children under 6 years old.  Applicants for the position of Safe Care Provider need to have a heart for vulnerable children and families in Clark, Garland, Hot Springs, Howard, Montgomery, Perry, Pike, Polk, and Saline.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

Applicants must have an associate degree from a two-year college or technical school or nursing diploma. Field of Study must include Social work, Education, Sociology, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling or related field in Human Services along with 2 years’ experience in Home Visiting, Child Development and/or Parenting.

SafeCare is a home-visiting program designed to equip and empower vulnerable families to better care for their children under 6 years old.  Applicants for the position of SafeCare Provider need to have a heart for vulnerable children and families in St. Francis, Lee, Monroe, Phillips, Arkansas, Desha, Drew, Ashley and Chicot counties. A successful applicant for this position will need to reside in the service area.
