HOUSEPARENTS/RELIEF HOUSEPARENTS

Applicants for the position of Houseparents/Relief Houseparents for AG COMPACT Family Services, Hillcrest campus need to be a mature, compassionate husband and wife team with a heart for ministry and/or credentialed ministers. They provide supervision, structure and assistance in meeting abused/neglected children’s physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs while teaching them life skills. It is a wonderful opportunity to invest in the lives of children and youth. Serve foster children and youth in a group home on a beautiful, 55+ acre campus.

Position Requirements

  1. Need to be mature and compassionate couples/individuals who have a heart for ministry.
  2. Provide direct supervision and care of children to meet their physical, spiritual, emotional, educational, and social needs.
  3. Work closely with a treatment team to establish and help fulfill treatment goals.
  4. Work with children and youth facing a variety of challenges to include: teen pregnancy, treatment needs, transition into adulthood, and special needs.
  5. Must be at least 21 years old and have at least a high school diploma or its equivalent, with prior childcare experience preferred.
  6. Have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

SAFE CARE PROVIDER - Area 4

Safe Care is a home-visiting program designed to equip and empower vulnerable families to better care for their children under 6 years old.  Applicants for the position of Safe Care Provider need to have a heart for vulnerable children and families in Sevier, Little River, Hempstead, Miller, Lafayette, Columbia, Union, Ouachita, and Nevada Counties. This position will be focused in Miller, Little River and Sevier counties.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Deliver the Safe Care training material in the home of area clients.
  • Participate actively in all training programs
  • Report child maltreatment and /or suspected child maltreatment
  • May participate in family centered meetings and /or court hearings on an as needed or requested basis.

Applicants must have an associate degree from a two-year college or technical school or nursing diploma. Field of Study must include Social work, Education, Sociology, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, or related field in Human Services along with 2 years’ experience in Home Visiting, Child Development and/or Parenting.

Preferably, the applicant will have a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university. Field of study must include Social work, Education, Sociology, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, or related field in Human Services.

Candidate is also required to have a Class D Arkansas Driver’s License with good driving record.


SafeCare Enrollment Coordinator – Area 3

SafeCare is a home-visiting program designed to equip and empower vulnerable families to better care for their children under 6 years old.  Applicants for the position of SafeCare Coordinator need to have a heart for vulnerable children and families in the Clark, Garland, Hot Springs, Howard, Montgomery, Perry, Pike, Polk, and Saline counties.

Position Requirements

Applicants must have bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.  Field of Study must include Social work, Education, Sociology, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, or related field in Human Services along with 2 years’ experience in Home Visiting, Child Development and/or Parenting. Master’s degree in one or more of these areas is preferred.

Candidate is also required to have a Class D Arkansas Driver’s License with good driving record.


Shift Lead

Responsible for providing a safe, nurturing environment for children who have developmental disabilities and come from abused, abandoned, neglected or dysfunctional homes. Will assist these children with their daily living activities, administer basic health care, and support their treatment needs. Must maintain appropriate documentation. Required Mandated Reporter for suspected abuse/neglect. This position will be the Lead on 1 of 3 shifts Monday thru Friday or 1 of 2 shifts Saturday and Sunday.

Position Requirements

Education/Training:

High school graduate. Must be at least 21 years old. Proof of experience working with developmental disability preferred.

Experience:

Preferred two-year experience working with residents from ages 0-21 with emotional and behavioral disturbances. Must have knowledge in use of Microsoft programs. Must have a valid Driver’s License and good driving record.

Other requirements:

Pre-employment drug screen and all required background checks. Pre- service training and orientation.

This position will assist on 1 of 3 shifts Monday thru Friday or 1 of 2 shifts Saturday and Sunday.

Health Services Manager

COMPACT Family Services (home of Hillcrest Children’s Home and Highlands Maternity Home) is seeking a Health Services Manager.

The HSM is responsible for coordinating, maintaining, and securing all medical needs surrounding the physical and mental health of our residents.

Position Requirements

Education/Training:

Current LPN licensure required - RN licensure preferred. Must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, reviewing medical files of potential admits, scheduling appointments, overseeing medications, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and conducting medical training for new hires.
